The property was newly decorated with accommodating staff especially the manager. My room with a smile on our faces after breakfast was spotless.

This hotel exceeded all expectations in every way, would recommend. Fairly clean place, staff was polite and incredible. Booked a room with a smile on our faces after breakfast. The bar was good for breakfasts.

Breakfast was very tasty. Pub atmosphere beautiful.
Windows could not be opened and also had zero sound insulation. Only a crevice wide to open with its own book underlaid. With the window closed, full acoustic irradiation from the street in spite of everything. Handling WLAN very modest. Cabinet dusty inside and rather too small for two persons. Water boiler not used! What's the matter with you? Find out for yourself.

We live on the Island and the visit was a birthday suprise for my husband, we were seeing a band at the Ribfest concert in Cowes harbour. From our top floor room we could see the harbour and from the bathroom we could see the stage, so we could have stayed in the lovely room all night and saved on concert tickets! We were that close to all the action and comings and goings in the harbour. The room couldn't have been more perfect. After a superb breakfast we spent the rest of the day shopping in Cowes, amazing shops!
We loved everything about the hotel.

Staff friendly and facilities ok. Pub style hotel with coffee shop attached. Breakfast good. Convenient for central Cowes, shops & restaurants etc.
A bit of a drag up to the third floor - obviously no lift owing to age of building. Small attic style room overlooking the High Street. Not the best room ever seen especially with sloping ceilings not really suitable for the 6ft plus. Even 5ft something wife managed to bang her head. Room still noisey from traffic, even three floors up. Would have been fine if used for a single occupant. No parking is a bit of a challenge but ok to overcome for short break might not suit all as nearest parking 10 min walk away.

Location was great. Right on the high street (a 2 minute walk to the marina)
1) It was incredibly noisy (there's a pub outside that attracts rowdy stag parties and no sound proofing or decent windows). 2) The breakfast service was slow. The lady serving did what she could to help but they were clearly under pressure. I couldn't eat the cooked breakfast when it came (the sausage for instance was cold).

Fantastic stay with a warm welcome!
We had a cozy night in our double room. Really loved the cool vibe and the attentive staff, especially Andy, what a friendly guy! The breakfast was great and totally worth it. Only downside was the early morning cleaning might bother the late risers.

Location in Cowes is excellent, as hotel is a few steps from the redjet ferry terminal and in the centre of the port of west Cowes. Breakfast is very good and the hotel bar does variety of evening meals.
